By this Westphal claims to have removed all functional dependencies, what remains are just what he calls formal or empty dependencies. In this model operations depends only on data and integrations depends on operations and other integrations. Integration calls operations and other integrations to put everything together thus creating behaviour but they do not contain logic.ĪPIs and frameworks is a fourth part through which operations interact with the environment. Operation is a piece of logic or behaviour working on some data but not aware of any other operation and not allowed to call them.ĭata is a structure of data possibly including services working on the data to ensure consistency but not containing any other form of logic. Looking for another way of describing architecture Westphal has defined an architectural style, IODA Architecture, built on three formal responsibilities, orthogonal to behavioural responsibilities: For him these patterns give a very crude idea of the structure of an application, essentially describing software as a deep hierarchy of functional or behavioural dependencies. People willing to create & support impact.Ī time to share, to learn and to deepen our conversational practice in our work, in our homes, and in our communities around issues, initiatives and possibilities that matter to us and that we want to explore together. For Ralf Westphal common architectural patterns like Layered architecture, Hexagonal architecture and Clean architecture all look very similar doing the same two things: defining domains of responsibility and putting functional dependencies in order. People willing to explore and take action to redefine our futures together. People willing to use their gifts and expose hidden ones. It is an invitation for people with various backgrounds to explore how we can invite peace for impact, leveraging the practice of Open Space. The platform game from Physmo, while nicely crafted, is too derivative and at times way too basic to truly stand out from the competition. Nothing astonishingly good, that’s for sure, but both graphics and music do their job well.Įven with all its interesting features, Mos Speedrun 2 suffers from pretty much the same things that do affect other similar games. The graphics are colorful and very well done, while the soundtrack is upbeat and well suited to the game. The Mos Speedrun 2 presentation is exactly the one players expect out of a 2D platform game. These two features are especially welcome as they force players to change their approach depending on what they are trying to achieve. Completing a stage is only the beginning, as players will also have to collect all coins during a stage and clear it within a certain time limit to truly master it. Not an easy task, considering the already mentioned difficulty level.Īs mentioned above, Mos Speedrun 2 comes with some features that make the experience a bit more deeper. And if you still find Mos Speedrun 2, you can play Prestige mode, which tasks players with completing stages with a single life. Making things more challenging is the fact that Mos dies when touching an enemy, so players must plan their jumps accordingly. Stages are actually pretty challenging, with only single use checkpoints found here and there, so don’t expect to breeze through the game’s 30 stages easily. Players will control Mos as the character traverses a variety of stages which have been heavily inspired by classic platform games, jumping on platforms, avoiding enemies and reach the final goal. Thankfully the platform game developed by Physmo does come with some unique features that add a little bit more depth to a tried and true formula.īeing the direct sequel to Mos Speedrun, Mos Speedrun 2 comes with a similar gameplay experience. Mos Speedrun 2 is yet another old-school inspired platform game coming with features that we have already seen before in other games. Unfortunately most of these titles aren’t exactly innovative, coming with features that are taken straight from the more popular old school platform games such as Super Mario, Mega Man and many others. With smartphone gaming being ever so popular, these titles are just perfect to play on the go thanks to their easy to understand gameplay mechanics. Graphics: DirectX9 (shader model 2.0+) / OpenGL 2.In recent times old school platform games have managed to become popular again. There’s much more waiting to be found, Mos Speedrun 2 is packed with secrets! System Requirements Want to wear a dinosaur costume, fedora, and clown nose? This can be arranged! The costume system is back and better than ever. If you are an expert, you can search for the Gold Skulls hidden on each level, the only way to get to them is through dangerous secret areas. Prefer collecting? Try to collect all the coins hidden around the levels. You decide how you want to play: Like speed? You can try to beat the speedrun time on every level. You aren’t alone in this new adventure, you can race your friends' best speedrun times, they appear as ghosts that run along right beside you, fighting every inch of the way for the fastest time. There's 30 precision designed levels full of secrets and surprises waiting for you to discover. This time Mos has learned some awesome new abilities: Swing on ropes, swim through jelly, push blocks, wall jump, and fight through spider webs to reach the end. Mos Speedrun 2 is Physmo's pixel-perfect platformer where you run, swim, swing and wall-jump to beat your friends top times. External conflict is the action of your story, the thing everyone sees on the surface. If there is no conflict, your reader will be bored, and there is no story. Conflict is what drives your characters and what keeps your readers reading. Create Suspense and ConflictĬonflict is essential to every type of story. Note: Character development isn't just for fictional characters! You need to have a well-rounded character if you're writing memoir/personal narratives (you're the perspective character) or certain types of nonfiction as well. Some kind of character sheet is essential for your POV character at the very least. This will help you make more believable characters and keep you from getting character details wrong. It's a good idea to develop a character profile for every single character. To further develop your protagonist, use other character archetypes like the villain, the protagonist’s opposite, or the fool, a sidekick character that reveals the protagonist’s softer side. As Victor Frankl said, “A human being is a deciding being.” Your protagonist must make a decision to get themselves into whatever mess they get into in your story, and likewise, their character arc must come to a crisis point and they must decide to get themselves out of the mess. The essential ingredient for every protagonist is that they must make decisions. Stories are about protagonists, and if you don’t have a good protagonist, you won’t have a good story. Then again, this is how stakes work in The Book of Boba Fett. The climax then tries to escalate the stakes when the Pykes bomb the bar owned by Garsa Fwip (Jennifer Beals), but it all feels curiously passive. Instead, Bane brutally and repeatedly shoots Vanth’s deputy dead, killing a minor character who lacks Vanth’s popularity and Olyphant’s star power. Bane shoots Vanth in the shoulder, but the scene makes it clear that the wound is not fatal. However, as with “ The Streets of Mos Espa,” there’s a curious lack of stakes to The Book of Boba Fett. Without Boba Fett’s armor, Vanth is a less marketable action figure, so perhaps he is more expendable than other characters. Vanth is a familiar face and Olyphant is a great actor, so killing off Vanth would help create audience investment. This is the penultimate episode of the season it is important to establish stakes. Vanth is used so effectively in “From the Desert Comes a Stranger” that it seems possible that the show might kill him off during his showdown with Cad Bane (Corey Burton). That might be a fair criticism in a more character-driven show, but Vanth doesn’t seem any less developed than any of the other major cast members in “From the Desert Comes a Stranger.” It helps that he is played by Timothy Olyphant, one of modern Hollywood’s few remaining cowboy actors and a compelling screen presence. This description of Vanth’s role in the episode might make the character seem like a prop, a pawn moved around the board with little agency or dynamism. Vanth is then attacked to send a message to Fett. He next appears when Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) travels into the desert to ask an old ally for a favor. The opening scene finds Vanth engaged in a stand-off with the Pyke Syndicate, establishing their reach on Tatooine. He can have his own arc and characterization, but his role in this narrative exists in the orbit of the more significant players. It helps that “From the Desert Comes a Stranger” understands that this isn’t Vanth’s show. However, in an episode with so much lore, it’s striking that Vanth stands out. Vanth previously appeared in “ The Marshal,” the first episode of the second season of The Mandalorian and also the episode that marked the return of Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) to the Star Wars universe. Interestingly for an episode that marks the return of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), the most compelling reappearing character is Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant). Still, it is instructive to compare the way that “From the Desert Comes a Stranger” treats its various returning characters. Like “ Return of the Mandalorian” before it, “From the Desert Comes a Stranger” is more “40-odd minutes of Star Wars stuff” than it is an episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Do not scroll down if you don’t want spoilers. This discussion and review contains massive spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett episode 6, “From the Desert Comes a Stranger,” including in its images.

Sesbania bispinosa, commonly known as “dhaincha” in India and Bangladesh, is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to tropical and subtropical parts of Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Several authors have developed mathematical models for efficient monitoring and optimization of the SS dose for sustainable crop cultivation without causing health risks to consumers. However, the SS must be carefully managed to ensure that heavy metals and other contaminants do not accumulate in the soil or crop plants. Efficacious results were obtained by other researchers when cultivating tomatoes ( Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), pea ( Pisum sativum L.), mung bean ( Vigna radiata L.), and okra ( Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench) crops using varying doses of SS in both pot-type and open-field experiments. When applied to agricultural land, SS can improve the soil’s fertility, reduce the need for chemical fertilizers, and improve crop yields. Recent studies have reported that SS can provide major plant nutrients, such as N, P, and K, as well as other essential trace elements including copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and zinc (Zn). Reusing SS for crop cultivation is a viable way to recycle the nutrients and organic matter (OM) contained in SS back into the soil. Moreover, SS can also be reutilized in a variety of ways, including composting, application to land, resource recovery, and energy recovery. In particular, research communities have reported that physical (filtration, settling, and dewatering), chemical (addition of chemicals to reduce pollutants and pathogens), and biological (use of bacteria and other microorganisms to degrade pollutants and pathogens) are among the top methods for efficient SS management. However, the most common approach to SS management is to treat it before disposal, which can be accomplished through several methods, including physical, chemical, and biological treatments. Nowadays, SS management is a major environmental and economic problem, as its unsafe disposal can cause serious environmental and health risks, including contamination of the soil and water sources. Sewage sludge (SS), being a by-product of the urban wastewater treatment process, contains a variety of organic and inorganic elements, including carbon (C), nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and heavy metals. bispinosa fiber production that could minimize the environmental pollution caused by the unsafe disposal of SS. The study suggested a sustainable approach for efficient soil fertilization and high-quality S. The findings showed that soil amended with SS significantly ( p Mn > Zn > Cu > Cd > Cr. Field experiments were conducted using different doses of SS such as 0% (T0), 5% (T1), 10% (T2), and 15% (T3) to amend the soil ( w/ w). In this study, the potential use of sewage sludge (SS) as a fertilizer source for cultivated Dhaincha ( Sesbania bispinosa (Jacq.) W.Wight) crops was investigated. |
